Writer's Note
The idea behind this memoir is that hate is often talked about carelessly, though it is a rather big deal. In my opinion, there is no point in holding on to hate, but rather forgiveness. In fact, hate tears down relationships and needlessly ruins lives. The image shows a person sitting in the dark, lonely and sad. This implies that the sadness is because of unnecessary hate that has eaten away at the person, driving him into a state of loneliness and emptiness. The text in the image looms, bold and demonic-looking taking up an obnoxious amount the picture represents hate itself. There is no punctuation in the sentence, as it is a straight-forward statement. In this image, I used many effects, including darkening, old photo filters, vignette, desaturation and several others.
